Team Nigeria Takes SportEduplus To CMS Grammar School
The SportEduplus train berthed at the historic CMS Grammar School Akoka to discuss plans for Sporteduplus and Fustaryl
The choice of CMS Grammar School was significant as it is the oldest secondary school in Nigeria, founded on 6 June 1859 by the Church Missionary Society.
At the time of the visit, a Girls Football Tournament was on-going at the football pitch of the school which drove home the need for an all-inclusive programme for both boys and girls under the SportEduplus programme.
SportEduplus is committed to taking sports from the grassroots and combine it with education (Capacity Building Programme) in-line with the English FA Coaching and Education standard.
We hope to create an enabling environment for work experience to provide an alternative pathway for kids to do something aside from just playing the game (empowerment ) I.e Coaching, Refereeing, Administrator, Pundit, Talent Identification/Scouting, Media, Sport science, to name a few.
